A:  Frankly, nearly every one of Transult’s clients has made that statement and is surprised when they find out the degree to which they had been overpaying the carriers prior to our engagement.  Without industry and benchmarking expertise, it is very unlikely that your company enjoys best-in-class pricing.  At a minimum, Transult’s market assessment will validate your current program.  

Q:  HOW ARE SAVINGS CALCULATED AND HOW DOES TRANSULT GET PAID?

A:  We receive electronic copies of your current carrier invoices which enables our billing software to produce an exact historical cost for every single shipment based on service level, zone, weight and accessorial charges.  Savings represents the difference between your newly negotiated rate and what your rate would have been under your old contract.

Q:  ARE OTHER COMPENSATION ARRANGEMENTS AVAILABLE OTHER THAN CONTINGENCY?

A:  Yes.  Transult is open to fee-for-project, bonus incentives and other types of compensation to meet your requirements.

Q:  HOW DOES TRANSULT COST JUSTIFY ITS FEE?

Q:  DOES TRANSULT RECEIVE ANY “KICK-BACKS” FROM THE CARRIERS AND/OR HAVE A PREFERENCE TO ANY SINGLE CARRIER?

A:  Absolutely not.  Any savings or additional discounts Transult negotiates from the carriers are passed on directly to our clients.  We never receive any compensation from a carrier and are totally carrier-neutral.  Moreover, our clients make the final decision as to which carrier program to implement.

Q:  BEFORE WE SIGN A CONTRACT WITH TRANSULT, WHAT’S TO PREVENT US FROM GOING TO THE CARRIERS ONE LAST TIME IN AN EFFORT TO GENERATE ADDITIONAL SAVINGS BEFORE HANDING IT OFF TO TRANSULT?

A:  While this strategy may produce additional savings, you are likely to lock the carriers into an initial pricing response and thus sacrifice the opportunity to achieve greater savings through Transult.  Transult uses our benchmarking ability and collaborative approach to request targeted rate responses from the carriers.  Not only does this approach maximize savings, but also it allows the carriers to offer their best pricing upfront.  Remember, it is the carrier representative’s job to handle your shipments at the highest possible price and profit margins.

Q:  WHAT HAPPENS AT THE CONCLUSION OF OUR AGREEMENT TERM?

A: Once Transult’s contingency term has expired, your organization will receive 100% of the savings.  Transult’s services are also available should you elect to reengage.
